Restaurants In Orange Beach And Gulf Shores
Restaurants in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are open for business using social distancing guidelines. Come and enjoy local seafood. One of my favorite hole in the wall places is the Flying Harpoon in Gulf Shores and in Orange Beach. They have some of the best Po Boys. If you want a great tasting burger, visit Bon Temps in Orange Beach in the shopping center behind McDonalds. Best hand fried chips ever. If you are going to Big Mike's for a steak, you better get there early. A place not known to many is Nicki's on canal road for Asian Seafood. Try it, you will go back. We have a new seafood restaurant in Orange Beach which is the Angry Crab Shack. I have not been there yet, but soon. It will be hard for them to beat the steamed seafood at Gulf Shores Steamer located at San Roc Cay in Orange Beach. That is my favorite for steamed shrimp and crab. For great waterfront dining there is The Gulf, Cobalts, The Yacht Club at Flora Bama, and GT's on the Bay in Orange Beach, but my go to for a beer and oysters is Sea-N-Suds in Gulf Shores. You can sit out on their deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and local beach. For Brunch, the Ruby Slipper on Perdido Beach Blvd. and Brick & Spoon on Canal are my favorites. Mikee's in Gulf Shores has always been a favorite of mine for all kinds of Seafood. For breakfast, Sunliner Diner, Hazel's on the island. Then Kitty's Cafe or one of my favorite, Gulf Shores Diner, both are located north of the island on Hwy. 59. Cosmos on Canal Road is one of the best on the island. I found a Bison steak on their menu one time. Very good! I am always available for a question about food or other great island fun.
